Our Design Engineering Group utilizes state-of-the-art science and know-how to reliably assess, design, optimize, verify and manufacture innovative thermal management solutions that are used at the component, board and systems level. Our proven Five-Step Process ensures that we are able to identify the right solution to address your needs, deliver it on time, and within specifications.

Step 1: Customer Requirements Every project is unique. To fully understand your needs, we first start by gathering customer requirements. Accordingly, there are a number of basic questions that we strive to gather before we begin the Design Assessment phase. This includes heat loads, airflow, dimensions, temperature, packaging requirements and ideally CAD files.
Step 2: Thermal Design Assessment - Once we have an understanding about your requirements, we can import your CAD drawings and integrate your parameters to run sophisticated thermal and mechanical analyses and conduct Solid Works modeling, in order to meet or exceed your packaging requirements. This includes our providing a simulation of the expected thermal performance that will be possible with our thermal solution.
Step 3: Thermal Design Prototyping - Our Design Engineering Group can respond to your sampling needs within weeks – up to 500 units at a time. Our advanced prototyping lab and test facility enables us to develop, test and verify the performance of new prototypes, and ensure that the design will perform reliably in a full-scale, high volume manufacturing environment.
Step 4: Reliability Testing - The Design Engineering Group employs state-of-the-art test and measurement equipment to effectively measure, record and monitor temperature, airflow, pressure and power under a range of normal and severe environmental conditions. Typical tests we administer include: thermal shock, temperature, climatic soak (humidity), structural (material durability), Qmax and life cycle.
Step 5: Supply of Production Units - Once performance and reliability is verified, you may provide a purchase order 90 days in advance of the date you desire to receive production quantities. Please see your local Celsia Representative for more details.
